Tom
Pearson is a systems scientist, consultant, teacher, author, and speaker.
He has designed innovative systems for integrated operations management and
improvement for many Fortune 100 companies. Examples include statistical
process control systems used throughout the world’s largest casting
plant (automotive), custom manufacturing execution systems for the largest
cigarette fabrication facility in the United States, product tracking and
process monitoring systems for major aerospace/defense manufacturing and
assembly divisions across North America, automated SPC systems for a Baldrige
winner, and overall process optimization systems for a leading pharmaceutical
manufacturer. These innovative designs combine principles of Business Information,
Six Sigma, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Creative Breakthrough,
Systems Science, Operations Management, Operations Research, and Real-time
Information to improve team communication, cooperation, coordination, learning,
